I somehow manage to forget to pay three of my credit cards. When I check online, one of them is 1 day late, the other 2 was due that same day. Since I check my balance at night, even if I pay the cards right away, the payments will be posted the next day.
I went ahead and paid it anyway..
I then google about waving the late fees. Most people say Chase has a policy that don’t wave late fees. If that is the case, then I will be hit with $70 late fees total.
Anyway, I called to try of course. Surprisingly, the representative was very nice. I asked to check about my payments. She then said she looked at my history and saw that I paid all my payments in full every month and that I’m a valuable customer. She offered to give me credits for the late fees. She even offer to wave the finance charge!
After the call, I was jumping up and down thinking that I saved $70 for my 5 minutes phone call. Awesome!!
