I was offered $1.99 for one week trial of Prime. I was gifted a Prime membership before but did not renew. I always think I don’t need anything to be shipped to my house in 2 days. I also don’t use another Prime membership benefits.I’ve been ordering some stuff from Amazon recently. Thinking $1.99 is a good deal and I could order and receive all my items before my trip by the end of this week. Once I paid my $1.99, I start looking at my Amazon shopping app all day. Thinking I should make my orders this week. Since then, I’ve made 3 orders in 2 days. Some of the items are in my wish list – not sure if I should spend the money to purchase. I also look through my stuff to see if I need anything as backup.Having this thought, I concluded that I bought items that I would have not bought at this moment if I don’t have a prime membership. But at the same time, they are items that I will purchase in the future, just not at this moment.

怎麼回事?失憶?
昨天突然想起我好似有個網誌，立即去找我的電郵，才把我的帳號找回來。一直到今天我都在想當初為什麼忘了，在我的電腦裏連備份都找不到，我的這台電腦是去年π日買，即3月14日，當時打了68.6折，那時工作非常忙，大概只有把要用的檔案轉過來。我的中文又差了，就這幾行字又花了我30分鐘，一直在查英中字典。

剛拿到我的Companion Pass，Yay! 有了這個CP，我以後飛可以免費帶一個人同行。 我的98,000哩程現在可以當成相倍來用。 可以在圖中看到我只飛了兩次，我的110,000哩程都是從信用卡來的。 每刷$1可以得一分，但我當然不可能刷$110,000，那我是怎麼辧到的呢？ 我是開了兩張Southwest的卡，一張是個人的，一張是公司的。

Remove credit card late fee
I somehow manage to forget to pay three of my credit cards. When I check online, one of them is 1 day late, the other 2 was due that same day. Since I check my balance at night, even if I pay the cards right away, the payments will be posted the next day. I went ahead and paid it anyway.. I then google about waving the late fees. Most people say Chase has a policy that don’t wave late fees. If that is the case, then I will be hit with $70 late fees total. Anyway, I called to try of course. Surprisingly, the representative was very nice. I asked to check about my payments. She then said she looked at my history and saw that I paid all my payments in full every month and that I’m a valuable customer. She offered to give me credits for the late fees. She even offer to wave the finance charge! After the call, I was jumping up and down thinking that I saved $70 for my 5 minutes phone call. Awesome!!

我的旅行大計預算沒有了...
年頭的時候我車死了，是真的在公路的中間動不了，要叫車來把它拖走。 車行說我的引擎死了，要換新的，總數要六千美元，我後來有找到一家只要四千，但後來又發現我的車子有其它的問題，所以四千還是不行。 三星期後我的車回來了，總數連租車和拖車的費用共六千。 為了要付這突如其來的數字，我從我的旅行預算拿錢出來了。 沒了這一筆錢，總覺得少了甚麼，很沒有安全感。

最近都在幹什麼？ 我現在的時間都花在看哩程和點數。 在不久以前看到這篇文章， Hi Rick, Want to start with a big thank you for all the advice you have provided that led me down this path. I was lucky to have parents who taught me the importance of good credit. I have always paid everything on time and built up a great credit history. Since I didn’t travel much for work, I never thought that airline miles, hotel points, etc., could ever be better than regular cash back. Before I stumbled onto your blog, I thought hitting a little over 2% cashback would be the best use of my credit card spend. However, once I started reading about your travels and strategies about a year and half ago, I thought, “Hey, I can do that!” A few helpful e-mails with you last year and I was off and running with a Starwoods Card and American Airlines Card. Now, as I said, I don’t travel too much for work and really don’t have time for mileage runs, so I focus mainly on the credit card bonuses and spend. Since then, only using sign-up bonuses I have successfully received 30,000 Starwood points, 60,000 AA miles, 100,000 British Airway miles, 70,000 Marriott Points (plus free night cert), and $880 in Southwest Fares all the while monitoring and keeping my high credit score.

終於都pass~~~~
12/8/2011 對我來講是一個特別的日子，因為這天我收到了會計師考試最後一科的分數。我全部四個科都考完了。 講起來我其實很幸運，因為我考最後一科的時候根本沒有把全部內容讀完，年底的時候我都是超忙的，大概書只看了75%，本來打算如果考不過我還有一次機會，但現在都不需要了。 我媽要我考試的時候都穿白色的衣服，所以我最後的三個考試都是穿白色去的，而我也真的全都考過了。老實講，我並沒有很努力的讀書，所以會考過我也覺得很神奇。 我的生日在十二月，大家都說我收到一份最好的生日禮物。 如果你也在考試，不仿試穿白色的衣服去吧!
